The Super Record™ 12×2-Speed groupset is the highest expression of the prestigious Italian brand’s technology and evolution.
It is meant for those who want to fit their bicycle with the best the market has in terms of performance and distinction. The drive to improve what is already considered a reference point results in every single detail being tended to, including the most minute. The Super Record groupset is both extremely lightweight and very sturdy. This groupset is the crowned jewel of Campagnolo® innovation and the technologies, material and expertise that the groupset is made with place it in a category apart.
The new Super Record 12×2 Speed groupset is presented on the market with an innovative rear derailleur designed with 3D Embrace technology that enables the chain to maintain the highest level of traction, even on the smallest sprockets. The new front derailleur comes with a split connecting rod system that enhances the use of the 24 speeds, making it possible to take better advantage of every combination of metric development, always finding the perfect ratio for every slope. The new Ergopower controls are even more ergonomic due to the special shape of the levers, which enables greater ease of use. Through the two chainring combinations, the new crankset is yet another step forward in terms of stiffness, whilst maintaining the technologies and advantages at the Super Record level.
The new sprocket sets include an additional sprocket in the same amount of space and play witness to the super technological processing of the larger sprockets that make up the two sprocket triplets in the monolithic billet body. The new chain is 5.2 mm thick and offers the same Campagnolo reliability, enhancing the derailing of the new Super Record drivetrain given the alignment of the pins on the external link.
Last, but by no means least, is the Dual Pivot and Direct Mount brake technology developed by Campagnolo for the 2018 range. This technology ensures maximum braking power and modulability for those who are used to a more traditional braking feeling and use a Rim Brake frame and braking system with the Super Record groupset.
