When the Colnago V1-R was introduced i was riding a Colnago C59 and a Colnago M10.
I really liked the new frame design and like almost everyone else i was skeptical about the rear brake position..
I decided to get the frame and moved my Campagnolo Record EPS from my M10 in order to build it.
Build quality of the frame(yes you are correct,Made in Taiwan) is fabulous. The paint is awesome.
First ride and i am amazed. The frame is the perfect racing machine.
Super stiff and agile and yet at the same time comfortable enough to ride it all day.
I really believe that this is the most advanced Colnago frame.
P.S.What about the rear brake???While it was difficult to adjust for the first time i never experienced any issues after that. The direct mount brakes are the way to go.Powerful and with plenty of tire clearance
